Obitsu bodies pose far better than any stock body, but they were never meant to hold up the weight of a pullip head and so tend to become a little ‘floppy’ over time. No need to replace it, as this quick fix can be done to make your girl better than new again!
This is a beginner tutorial. It is not difficult at all, and should be able to be done in less than 15 minutes.
For this project you will need:
- Craft foam
This is 2 tutorials in one. Dals (usually put on 23cm obitsus) are much more likely to have flopping problems than pullips (usually put on 27cm obitsus). Hard bust obitsus are structured the same internally, so a tutorial that works for one will work for all.
For those who aesthetically prefer dal necks, the second part of this video shows how to hybridize a dal bust plate onto a pullip body.
