I suspect longer-term collectors will not be so happy about this (since Groove/JP never did this before, even on dolls that were more limited due to supply shortages or dolls that sold out in preorders) but more recent collectors who haven't done the dance of 'saving up & tracking down' those old/rare dolls will be. Oh, I’m sure the people who are for/against won’t have much to do with how much of a fan they are.

A doll is 100 dollars or so that that is a lot for me to spend. I love Alice theme dolls and I get them when I can.
