Meow~
This custom has just one picture up for two reasons: 1) an all black custom is almost impossible to photograph. 2) She’ll be debuting at PUDDLE. I wanted to get at least one ‘new’ custom together for the event, so I can cross that off my list… though there’s another I’d like to get done, [...]

Ulquiorra WIP Update
Getting there! The base body is done, he needs his furry bits, wings, and tail….and a head, of course. But a little over 10 hours in and this is what we’ve got so far.

PUDDLE
I always think of it as PUD-DAL in my head, just because the organizer, TrueFan, is such a huge Dal fan. But anyhoo, barring any bizarre circumstances between now and June 4th, I’ll be going to PUDDLE. I will be running a tutorial panel type thing, we haven’t figured out exactly what it will cover [...]

Pullip news: New book, collabs
The Groove blog has been having a lot of text-only posts lately, so I did some translating: Announced 5/20: New pullip book to be released “Summer 2003-Autumn 2010, Pullip Complete Style” (tentative title) scheduled for release in July 2010 (also tentative). Price: 3,800 yen, a little over $40, plus, of course, shipping. Announced 5/20: (busy [...]

Spring Dollhouse Cleaning
I don’t generally sell dolls. If I don’t like them, I just customize them. Heck, I don’t even sell my customs if I can help it. Unfortunately, I keep all my dolls in the dollhouses, and if they don’t fit… Still, this is the first time I’ve gone through my ‘to be customized’ storage boxes [...]

Mir the White
Mir is probably my favorite release from the last 2 years. She’s gorgeous. And.. gorgeous. Also very, very pale. For those of us who can’t stand the stock bodies (or those poor folks who have stock bodies that broke), this causes a problem. …but it doesn’t have to. Warning: Doll Nudity Ahead

WIP: Ulquiorra 2nd Release
My latest project is pretty ambitious: Ulquiorra by himself is a pretty advanced custom. His head is extensively resculpted and he has a full body repaint. But EVERYBODY wants Ulquiorra, so I made a counteroffer to someone who’s been trying to buy him off of me, to commission a Ulquiorra 2nd release form instead. This [...]

Dollhouse remodeling
The question that comes to any collection sooner or later is ‘where do you put it?’ For me, it was a bookshelf on my desk that I cleared out for my dolls. The dolls never just stood there: the stands they come with aren’t very pretty, so I got them furniture to chill on. And [...]

Yuzuki Dollfie
Pullip faces aren’t really anime styled. They’re somewhere between anime style and ‘realistic’ that I like as a happy medium. Enough stylizing to be able to do unusual things like 2-tone eyelashes and get away with it, realistic enough to keep things interesting. This time around, I did an anime-styled dollfie faceup of Yuzuki from [...]

Game, Set, Matchmaker
Still intergrating old website content with new content. Please excuse the e-mess
Instead, I’m going to post about a photo contest that just ended, GSM (Game, Set, Matchmaker). It was a silly contest, which is why I enjoyed it quite a bit. Based off of dating games, which none of my male dolls would be caught dead in, naturally someone had to enter someone else without their knowledge.
